However, she soon begins to wonder who the real enemy is. They say the Pandora of ancient myth opened her box and doomed humanity, but can this Pandora save it? P.S. Nearby, a wise bird perched on a branch, warning of the urgent danger facing Y/N's kin. As Atreus prepared to help her regain her memories, his father, Kratos, watched from the shadows, a mixture of pride and concern on his face. When a pack of hungry wolves threatened them, Kratos stepped in, dispatching the beasts with lethal precision, showcasing his strength. As Y/N stirred and opened her eyes, confusion enveloped her. "Where am I?" she whispered. Atreus knelt beside her, warmth emanating from his presence. "You're safe now. We're going to help you." Freya is not like the rest of the kids in her age. She doesn't have any magical powers like them. She doesn't even look like them even though she was born in Nivedy. She can't help that the Oracle is so lazy to give Freya her powers. But even if everyone treats her like she is 'Nothing' she has her family and her best friend by her side. But what will happen when an evil force threatens the peace in their village? Will Freya be there and fight against the evil? Or is she going to be sent away in order to be protected? Decades ago, the world came to a halt as humanity knew it. Wars spurred the worldwide deathrates to a new high, businesses closed, and much of the new technology stopped working altogether. As if life could not get much worse for the surviving humanity that was left, creatures of the night came forth from the shadows, ready to claim what was left of the world's society and kill those who opposed the new regimen. However, all of this was unknown to a young woman you lived with her small family in a quiet town, hidden from the chaos of the outside world. The young woman who lived in this town was called Delilah, and this is her story. Please note that this book is a slow-burn. Yes, there is romance. Yes, like my characters you may be left wanting more. Good stuff takes time, give this book a try. Additionally, I started writing this book while I was fresh out of High School, I am now a junior in college. While the writing was not necessarily bad, it has improved greatly with the more recent chapters.
