Angel Adams is my name, and having a carefree life is my goal. After graduating from college, I spent the rest of my life jumping from job to job. Making do with living in New York City, from paycheck to paycheck. I don't mind. Money is fake and we live on a floating rock anyways. For the past five years, nothing really stuck with me. The universe changes every millisecond and I go with the flow. Never been in a long-lasting relationship because I get bored. I almost did not graduate college in time because I wanted to do everything and nothing at once. All I want is to move to an island, relax and not work because I don't dream of labor. Cold Water
[BWWM] I was only twelve years old when the world turned cold. The day my mom died in that car accident, I felt like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water over my heart. Transcendence 4 is a continuation of my interpretation of my own study of the Bible, the stories, and a look into God's amazing miraculous way of caring for us, His people! In this book we begin as Joshua takes over as leader of the Israelites after Moses' death. Wars are fought, Kings are crowned, people obey and disobey. Along the way God blesses, and God punishes. Studying God's word draws us closer to Him and allows us to understand exactly what He expects from us. These true stories about our history help us to learn how to lean on our faith in God. Why him?
(Sequel to "Why me?") I still have nightmares. It's been years, I've tried to move on yet they still haunt me. No matter what I do nothing can fix it. I still don't understand why anyone would treat an innocent soul as foul as they did mine. I sit awake at night wondering, what did I ever do to deserve such a thing? It may seem that I'm happy and that I'm a strong independent alpha now but little does everyone know I'm still broken, just as broken as when I watched my "parents" die right before my eyes. Even though all these thoughts rush through my head constantly there's always one question that I can never seem to shake. Why him? ••• Sequel to 'Why me?' Redemption
Book Two in the Grace Series. This can most certainly be read as a standalone, but I would recommend reading Grace first (and Something New before or after). Either way, enjoy: I spent my entire life trying to earn my parents' love and it just never worked. I wanted that same love Aunty gives me, from my mother. The same discipline Pops instills into me, I wanted from my father. I wanted comfort and care, and at the very least, their attention. It's all I wanted. But I never got it. Something within me still had some sort of hope that things could possibly change. I thought things could be salvaged at some point. I never voiced this to anyone else, but a part of me held onto that. That was shattered with the news they delivered to me. It shook me that they've been divorced, but what did the most damage was that they never even bothered to tell me. It's like they forgot they even have a child together. The people I lived and breathed for...didn't even seem to recall that I existed. That broke me. "I can't do this anymore," I repeat. Pops stares at me in silence before standing and disappearing. My mouth turns down in a frown, not expecting that, but then he comes back. I grit my teeth as he holds an item in his hand. I saw this very same item five years ago as well. The Bible. "Just like then, I won't force you into anything, Austin. You've got a choice-you always have. I don't know what made you try to walk away from the faith, but I'm still going to extend it to you." ~ Redemption: the action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil.
