Yehoshua Reinhart, a young boy who has faced numerous hardships in his life, discovers that he possesses extraordinary abilities that surpass those of an ordinary human being. These abilities, which appear to be "normal" for him, lead Yehoshua to question the cruelty of life and desire to change the world, just as the Lord has transformed him and given him a new purpose for living. After graduating from middle school, Yehoshua escapes from his abusive step parents and moves to the city to live with his kind grandfather, who serves in the military. It is during this time that he stumbles upon a mysterious ring, inscribed with the words in Hebrew, "Let him be worthy to defeat the works of the Enemy when that day cometh." Now faced with a choice, Yehoshua must decide whether to use the ring to fulfill this strange prophecy or succumb to the temptation of personal pleasure.
They were supposed to have a normal life.
Instead they must save the world.
Five teens are whisked off to a parallel world, Paravald, where they must rescue the Moon and restore the Sun. Five friends, each with a dark past, must learn the power of friendship and trust if they will ever have a hope of restoring peace. What they don't realize is that they are mere pawns in a dangerous game. This may not be a mission of finding the Sun and Moon, but also finding themselves.
The teens soon learn that not everything is as it seems. They must reevaluate who they left behind that has betrayed them, and most importantly, who they brought with them.
And they only have eleven days before their two worlds collide.
