Kia had to give up everything and leave everything behind. He had to leave the one person he loved most in the beautiful sea. Liang. He had to forget about him, but it was hard to in the sea. So he left.

He didn't expect that the sea would follow him to land; and attack the humans. As he watches things change around him in ten years time. As humans are dying off; he learns Liang had followed him as well but was discovered and kept as a display in an aquarium.

Deciding he and the MerPrince Liang were the source of the problem he sets off to find him. After ten years, he has to ask for help.
