Star saw a knight in the cards, but there was no boy in shining armor on a white horse. There wasn't even a boy in a car, offering her safety and family and home. There wasn't a boy at all, though boys come to Santa Carla by the dozens, and die just as fast.

There was, though, a girl.

Notes: Written for skazka for Yuletide 2016. Your love for the Lost Boys, and particularly the setting, really spoke to me, and how I feel about the movie and about Santa Cruz, and I adored your lesbian biker gang prompt. I hope you enjoy this version of it.
