Renting a house in the middle of the country side would be fun they said...
We'd go on hiking trips and see the beautiful views of the rolling hills and winding rivers. It would be beautiful they said. We'd do so many activities they said. See a different side of the world they said, well at least that part was true.

Valerie and her friends expected to have an amazing time on the other side of the country where the total number of the population was 700, where there were more farm animals than people and where light pollution and overpopulation wasn't in their vocabulary. 1 week never seemed so long. And the unexpected allure of a boy with a seemingly permanent glare on his face manages to attract her attention.
