"It's not just a birthmark anymore. It's an exposal to my identity." ~Shade

Shade and her friends are Guardians. They live in a country called Analysia, were Shadow Dragons roam the land. Living in fear of the Dark Witch, Shade and company must travel across and save the citizens of Analysia, accompanied by Dusk the dragon. The same type of creature that's been ordered to slaughter by the king of Lyeria. But while Shade tries to save the world, she finds that someone else is after Dusk, and she learns that a loved one will be taken from her life. Will she stop it? Or will the Guardians fall to the enemies the Shadow Knight, or the Dark Witch?

[ magic, romance and madness. ] Everyone knew that a romance between a guardian and their protégé always ended in tragedy - yet they risked it. One day, I read that in real-life fairy tales, the princess sometimes needs to befriend the dragon and kill the prince, perhaps not to the most extreme extent, considering the prince's utility. (*Wink*). Twenty years had passed since the demise of the last living descendant bearing the bloodline of a potent family within the mystical realm. Individuals who possessed magic more formidable than anyone could have fathomed and that very magic could be pilfered if they were to meet an untimely end-a rumour ignited like wildfire. Word began to spread about the sole surviving member of the Lysion family, the last vestige of a lineage renowned for their blessings from the gods (or, as some argue, their curses), once no more than bedtime tales for children. Two decades earlier, a game of hide and seek unfolded that culminated in the death of the final Lysion at the hands of Oldo Blake, a formidable figure in the annals of history. Or so the story goes. An obscure girl. A concealed secret. A relentless pursuit. With a motley crew of bewildering Other Siders on her trail and an absolute dearth of knowledge on how to harness her precious magic, Rosélina Johnson's life transformed from that of an inconspicuous university student to that of a fugitive in the mystic realm, utterly unprepared for what lay ahead.

(Part 3 of Nightshade) It's been 200 years since Rose died, and now Myra is sitting on her throne. She'll have to lead all the other Realms against the greatest threat yet, Exodious, the Fragment of Elysium who created their world in the first place. If they fail, Exodious will fall, and they'll move onto the human world just for fun. Perhaps Elysium will help them by sending other Fragments to help Myra and her friends, or maybe they'll come down themselves. Fate has called upon war, destiny has called on the Realms of Monsters to end it. It is recommended you read Nightshade, Daybreaker, and Dragon Realm as this is the third book in the Nightshade series it will also involve the Dragon Realm characters. And there's no cover because a friend of mine is making it for me. When the cover is finished I'll use it, but I'm not exactly in a rush.
