Adopted by a hateful she-cat, traumatized by the murder of her mother, and bullied by her older adopted sibling, young Otterkit learned that she would never have anything given to her in life. Surviving her apprenticeship and catching the attention of a couple other clanmates, Ottercreek believed that her luck was finally changing, but when a certain spoiled she-cat starts to take everything Ottercreek has worked for she starts to doubt that belief. Leopardwillow has always wanted an apprentice from the moment she was an apprentice herself to the moment she became a warrior... There was one exception however she would beg Starclan not to mentor the stubbornest, violentist, evil-seeming kit ever- Smokekit. Little does she know that just so happens to be Starclan's will not only will she need to mentor Smokekit, tensions rise higher and higher within Lakeclan and a war will be hard to avoid, and Foxbristle; Leopardwillow's sister is accused of Bearstar's murder. On top of that drama Leopardwillow still has to save her clan from whatever danger lies ahead-little does she know her stubborn apprentice might be the cause for all this chaos... Excerpt: Flamestar's one amber eye shone in the moonlight; the moon soon disappeared from within the clouds. "I did not fail Junipercloud." Leopardwillow spat, "you should know not to kill warriors during things so ridiculous as border skirmishes Starclan doesn't want us to kill each other." This is a fanfiction based upon the Erin Hunter series, "Warriors". This book was something I tinkered with quite a few years ago, when I started reading the Warrior Cats series. Eventually, I gained the confidence to turn it into some sort of story of my own, introducing my cats (in real life) as well as game characters I've made online. I hope whoever reads this story enjoys it! (Apologies if mistakes are made within the book.) Note: This first series takes place in a different version of the Lake territory. Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either.
