One evening after dinner, Brett felt something happen to him... A fanfiction loosely based on Brett's illness in 2020. First time writing something like this and also not an English native speaker, so if you find any errors, I'm happy for feedback. Also, I actually never wanted to write any Breddy fanfiction since there are so many, but the stories are all just so good and inspiring and I couldn't resist. Please forgive me XD. Another disclaimer: I have no idea about medicine whatsover, so there might be errors in all things medical related in this work, please just really treat it as FICTION and nothing else... If people by any chance like that story, I might update it on a more regular basis, but let's see how it goes^^. Here goes nothing, enjoy!

Some of this timeline has less detail than the rest, but I have better memory of things that have happened in the past year than I remember things that happened six and seven years ago. My memory is faulty, but so is yours. I don't remember every second of everything that happened, but I do have many memories that I still cherish, even if you don't remember them. The difference between our memories, the way we recount them and experience them over again may be obvious to you if you ever read this, but I somehow doubt this will ever end up in your possession. This is my story to "you". This is a story about loving someone so much and after all else you don't always get the happily ever after that you always want. No matter the fighting and clinging towards this love. Sometimes the only thing you have left is the memories. This became a story for me to heal my wounds and grow into the woman I am now. I am publishing my story because for so long I have been writing this story for one person but I think others can relate and empathize with this story.
