Mature
Everything in Matt Winchester's relative normal tips off its axis the moment he realizes he's in love with his best friend and roommate, Topher Stanton - and he has no idea what to do about it.

There are few secrets between Matt and Topher - less when Topher comes out as bisexual - and life carries on like normal except Matt's feelings threaten to drown him. If that happens...well, he'd rather never tell Topher if that means he doesn't have to watch Topher walk away from him.

Topher's nobody's fool, and he can see Matt's frayed edges even if he doesn't know the cause of them. Every time he thinks about taking the chance to tell Matt he's in love with him, the idea of watching Matt - like so many others - leave him without a second glance, keeps him silent.

Something's got to give between the two of them, and no matter which way the chips fall, things between Matt and Topher won't ever be the same.

(Author's Note: I'm in the process of rewriting Two for the Rent [hence the new title]. Hopefully you'll like this new and improved version as much or more than the first. Thank you all so much for your support, comments, and votes. I deeply appreciate it.)

✖ WATTPAD FEATURED ✖ "Don't erase the mistakes. Learn from them instead." ---------------------------------------------------- For years, Errol Balker has been running away from his life, shutting out the previous world as he attempts to start a new one. All he wants is change; to be better; to be a tame monster. Amidst focusing on what he does best - which is drawing - he finds it fairly impossible to begin afresh when he refuses to acknowledge the damage that he has left behind, especially when bits of history follow him around like a shadow, like a constant reminder of his past ... © A.
