Nightingale

Mikey is John's younger brother. John, like most boys, loved football. Like most boys, John was great at football. He had a gang of friends, bullies and jocks, whom he followed around everywhere. Mikey is twelve. Three years younger than John. Mikey was intelligent, loved school and especially maths. He wanted to become a mathematician, in fact. You might be wondering- what twelve-year-old boy wants to be a mathematician? Well, Mikey. He wasn't good at sports, especially football. That didn't stop him from liking it just as much as his brother. The first day back from school, a group of older boys come over to Mikey. This wasn't new for him. He was bullied and teased all day, it was starting to get old. When they were walking away, however, Mikey noticed a figure in the back. His brother had been cruel before, but Mikey never knew he was a bully. He was popular, cool and immature. Mikey sighed. He should have expected for that boy to be so close-minded.
