Ruka is just one of many who now posses the ability to "control" a beast as satanic as the devil himself, hellhounds. The problem however is that, shadow Jumpers as they're called, are basically heartless. They're emotionless people whom managed to escape their fate when a hellhound pair attempted to bring them to hell for their sins. These qualities make them greatly feared by the rest of humanity, and wanted by the government. Just as every other Shadow Jumper was taken by the government so was Ruka. He and all the others now have to serve the government, acting as an elite police force just...they can send whoever they want to hell...

I took inspiration from teen wolf for this. The character Parrish was cool I liked how he was a hellhound. Basically, I'm taking the Nemeton and the Hellhound from Teen Wolf and putting it into a Rurouni Kenshin. Whoever hasn't watched Rurouni Kenshin, it's just about a boy trying to move away from his past and fighting bad guys. The plot of this fanfic is that Kenshin is a Hellhound, not just any Hellhound, the LAST Hellhound. He lived a good life in his world until it went down hill when he gets manipulated as well as lied too and those who thought were close to him betrayed him for someone new with fake stories. When the lies came in, everyone saw Fang as a bully and a jerk while the person who told the lies was treated like a goddess in which Fang ended things when he shot and killed the person who made his life hell. In the end Fang himself was shot and killed by officers and instead of heaven he went to hell where he became a rare and strong being known as a HellWolf that are more stronger and more feared than HellHounds. Fang would not miss the human world because in Hell he is free until he gets a job for an assassin and finds love.
