35 girls are chosen, one from each of the provinces in Illéa, to compete for the heart of the Prince Adam. Aurelia Butterfield, a seventeen year old girl, with a caste of 4, lives in the small poor province of Angeles and enters into the Selection. Her grandfather, Mathew Butterfield, is slowly weakening, and no money that the family earns is enough to buy the medicine he needs. Aurelia decides to enter, but instead of just saving of her grandfather, maybe just maybe she'll find love, amidst the jealousy, betrayal, and rebellions that will ensue.
