The story of Ember. There has always been more than one world. Sometimes parts of the world would slip through. Like the Great Chicago Fire. Or even small flash floods. But nothing can seep through the worlds without an elemental. An elemental is someone with fire abilities (normally, occasionally other elements) who can travel the two worlds. The first world is the modern world. The second is the fire realm. The Elementals are also resistant to fire. Having this power has some effect on their health though. Most are ill. Some Elementals are bad and carry monsters from the Elemental realms to our realm. These monsters cause destruction wherever they go. You have been recruited into a boarding school, not knowing it is run by evil Elementals. Are you ready to be an elemental and protect the world?
