This season is going to be life changing for the girls on the Northridge High Wildcats varsity softball team. The girls that have played for years are going to see the game from a whole new perspective as a young, new coach takes over for their senior year. Though the girls have seen a lot off the field, they've always come to a similar environment on the feild, until this year, when the diamond brings them a taste of the real world.


Lindsey Becker: All-Star pitcher since day one, this girl has been dreaming of going on to pitch for the Florida Gators her whole life. The last thing she needs is a new coach messing up everything she's been working her whole life for, right? Or will this new coach give her a little more insight than she thought possbile? Will her "innocent" attraction toward him throw off her game?


Hallie Carter: She's a more like a vaccum cleaner than a catcher behind the plate. But, when she meets new girl Casey, something starts to feel different for her. Now a serious question arises for Hallie that she might not be able to handle the truth.


Kim Lewis: Her escape has always been softball. With her rotten home life and awful past, she feels as though she has no where to turn. She's resorted to living with her abusive boyfriend, Asher. Is there any escape for Kim?


Casey Wilson: She'd always been MVP on her NYC intermural teams, but realizes she needs to bump it up a notch when she joins the Wildcats this season. Once she meets Hallie Carter, she suddenly has her eyes on another prize. Will she win her over, or just leave her confused?


Seth Portman: When the principal asked him if he was interested in coaching, he was assuming her meant baseball. Disappointed, he takes the job anyway, thinking it'll be a one year thing.
