With Neptune being the furthest planet from the sun that we can orbit, it only made sense to set up the new Star Walk station there. The Dawson and Co. Stellar Exploration Team are a research company turned tourism group, dedicated to helping people discover the stars. Carina has lived on the station for most of her life after her parents became maintenance officers on the top deck. She hadn't made many friends and there wasn't any schools on the Star Walk Stations but her parents gave her everything she could ever need. Nick Bannerman, a gift shop employee, has moved to the station so he can take over for his ageing grandfather. Taking up residence in the employee quarters deep below deck, he comes across Carina while on his way to his room and instantly falls in love. This is the story of Nick and Carina. The gift shop boy and the maintenance girl. If I had to give this story a time period, I'd probably say some time in the 22nd century but... I guess it would be in an alternate time line. If you think otherwise, go ahead. This is open to your interpretation, it could be happening thousands of years in the future or maybe it's happening now, just in an alternate timeline.

Europa

In order to embark on a mission to discover alien life on the icy moon of Jupiter Maria must leave her life on Earth behind, including her father and her seven-year-old son Diego. She thought the hardest part of the mission would be saying goodbye, but little does she know what awaits her and her crew on Europa, an environment that has never been explored from the surface until this mission. Perhaps alien life was never meant to be explored by humans... Will she fulfill her promise to her father and son to make it home alive, or will she fail to make good on that promise like her mother did when she was a little girl? Note: This story was written during a challenge to write an entire book in one week! I vlogged the whole process on my YouTube channel (Patrick Procrastinates Writing), my Instagram (@memesforwriters), and my TikTok (@memes4writers). Be sure to check those out if you want a behind the scenes on my writing process behind this project! I will continue to work on Europa, but I will not update this version as it shows what I was able to accomplish in the seven days of the challenge. Please let me know what you think (don't be afraid to be mean).
