Time has rarely brought peace and prosperity to even the most deserving of people. Citizens of the trade city Khýapar are a no exception. The city may look colourfully alive, however it hides its chaotic side deep within the folds of the very silk and goods it trades. You've got to be slick and cunning to make it in the streets of Khýapar... and maybe just a little bit crazy.
Enter Syrinx, a teenage vagabond-turned-thief. The girl possesses all the skills she needs to survive this dystopian lifestyle, and has been living a fairly comfortable life, excluding the occasional run-ins with local authorities. However, a single fated encounter with a mysterious boy shatters all hopes of a normal life for Syrinx as she is thrown into a world of prophesies, devastating secrets, and adventure.
