A farm girl called Natalya is arrested for being a kulak and is taken to a prison camp where she and the brutally handsome Alexander, who happens to be the prison guard develop a dangerous realtionship. Will they be able to ignore the feelings they have deep inside or will it be to srtong to bare? And what happens when it's too late? Will Alexander be able to save Natalya?
