"Alright girls, everyone get into your dresses. It's time for the Choosing!" I heard from downstairs. In a flash all the teenaged girls, 16 and up, started bolting around to find their beautiful dresses. These girls have waited for this moment since they could comprehend the word "Mate". Watching from the end of the hall, I see girls fighting over mirrors and bathrooms so they can make themselves look stunning. You may ask why aren't you moving? Where's your dress? I don't want a mate. I don't want to be claimed or bare a mark on my neck. Those girls can have and want those boys.

It is said that only the special humans get werewolf mates. Human mates aren't usually frowned upon in most packs, but as for The Larken Moon pack it's forbidden to claim and accept a human mate.
