He hissed as the alcohol touched his bleeding wound and he grabbed my hand. His touch ignited a flame and I knew that later I might have to treat myself for burns. "I'm sorry, did that hurt?" I asked, softly. I tried to calm my breathing as I did so, he was so close. The years that I spent staying away from his kind weren't paying off. "No," He retorted sarcastically, still holding onto my hand. "I hissed because I'm a snake. Of course that hurt, pumpkin." His comment awakened several buried memories, but I ignored them and continued to work on his wound. "Could you please let go of my hand now?" I muttered. He smirked and shook his head. "Do I scare you?" he asked, completely ignoring my question. Even though he did scare me, he scared me completely biscuit-less, I rose my head up and shook my light brown waves. "Absolutely, not." ************************ Gemma Reynolds is an an overworked nurse and probably one of the most innocent and pure people you will ever meet. Her life consists of a simple and constant routine, wake up early, workout, go to work, eat , sleep and listen to her mother criticize her about not having a boyfriend or husband. She has always been hidden in the shadows and even in high school she preferred to stay away from anyone living or breathing, especially Mr. Wyatt Evans. When Wyatt comes into the hospital battered, bruised and bleeding, one night, Gemma is to take care of him. Through several long nights at the hospital, dangerous hide outs and intricate explanations, Gemma figures out that there is more to life than her simple routine and maybe nursing the bad boy isn't as bad as it seems.Complete

He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. When she starts her new school, Cliffside High, everyone despises her. They don't like the same music she does and they don't dress like her. She's an outcast in their book. But when she gets home, she goes to her favorite website and chats with people who love her. Who don't despise her. But, everything changes when a stranger starts to chat with her. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. It all started with a stupid game some horny high school students made years ago. Seven chosen seniors have to try and date the most underclassman before they graduate. This year's contestants included the charming Zoey Taylors. Zoey was the popular and confident bad girl of her school. Real dating wasn't a thing in her world, so the games were hers to win... until she was given her 'conquest'. See, to make things more interesting for contestants, everyone is assigned a junior to date for a huge bonus to their score. They are picked in order to be a true challenge worthy of their points. In meeting and getting to know her assigned junior, Zoey fell hard. Quinn Jensen, Zoey's junior, was not only an incredibly smart and quick witted girl, she was beautiful and kind. She didn't take Zoey's bullshit from the start and it began bringing a maturity out in Zoey she never let others see. The issue was that Quinn presented herself as a shy and STRAIGHT church girl whom spent all her time in the library, if she wasn't with her friend group of nerds. Besides her hatred she does not want to be lured into their trap like all the other girls. Oh, did I forget to mention they are the six hottest guys in school. She is certain she will never fall for one of them that would be her nightmare come to life. London thinks she's stayed under the radar but what she doesn't know is that The Venomous Six know about her. I mean how could you not know the only girl that does not fawn over them. To her disgrace, Aiden, the leader, is very much attracted to her. What happens when fate puts these two together? Can London ignore the fire that Aiden seems to ignite?
