This story is complete, though incomplete. For elaboration, I have completed it how I wanted it, in the sense of me working and chipping away at it to get it printed off for my father to read, seeing as he wanted to read, edit, and attempt to get it published (He had called a publishing company the other day about it). Incomplete in the sense that I don't have all the scenes I really want now more than I did when I was in the process of writing it. For example, in the previous chapter one, there was a small scene that had Aaren, Travis, Loyd, Scott, Gabe, and Xander fighting in Lord Sylvie's house. I had changed it so that they moved outside, seeing as I imagined Sylvie's house as a small, quaint house, so it would only make sense that they all fought OUTSIDE instead of INSIDE. Also incomplete in the sense that I strongly dislike the way I wrote it. I've gotten some 'inspiration' from my dad about (spoiler) killing her in the end, so I came back to change it before we went into really editing the pages (grammar, spelling, etc).
That's all I really wanted to communicate with you guys, so if you remember something specific about the previous book, I changed it because I disliked how it wrote it.

This (very self indulgent) story is based on Project Inheritance, a closed homebrew D&D 5e campaign I play in. The world is undergoing a period of strife as the Raxan Rebels (a group much larger and more powerful than the name 'rebel' would suggest) are now powerful enough to be toppling governments. At the same time, the lines between realities are growing thin, and the natural order is shifting as realms begin to merge. Every person in this world also has an 'Inheritance' (although in universe they are simply called 'things') which is a curse or ability they gain at birth. These are generally useless, or even hindrances. (examples include addiction to eating rocks, or waking up with a different number of eyes after a long rest.) The Party: Cordelia 'Cordy' Irvine: A child half-elf who joined the party after they failed to protect her caretaker on an escort mission. With no home to return to, Cordelia (already used to being somewhat of a feral child) travels with the group, as she begins to learn more about her mysterious and absent mother, and her own unique abilities. Oakley: An elf who was raised in the fey wilds. He travels with his friend Libro as a sword-for-hire Libro: A crossbreed of several races, Libro travels with his friend Oakley in search of knowledge and new stories Scott: An Aasimar who fled the Raxan Rebels after witnessing the atrocities they were committing, he now works as a mercenary Aster: A Firbolg in search of a safe home for his entire family. This is my first fictional piece for something other than school that I've written! I feel accomplished, even though I shouldn't! That's a good feeling, right? Time is the story of Travis, a boy who is thrust into the dangerous worlds of the Forces, the Infinite, and-dreadful as it is-thinking. For the first time in his life, he gets to experience the world, instead of living in the peaceful forest with his guardians. Let's see what happens, shall we? Reading the Prologues is important! They're pretty much chapters too, but they're reserved for mainly stories from the point of view of Forces. This story takes place in a world separate from Earth. In this world, people have Gods and Forces. Gods are the beings they pray to, and the Forces are the things that do all the work. It's a win-win relationship. This is my first full story. You may say that it sucks as much as you want... if you want to. I'd like constructed criticism. Confused by any of the magic, physics, or beliefs? Any questions at all can be asked in the comments for each story part. Sorry, but the different font types I used for the Forces (such as American Typewriter for Death) wouldn't work. I can't change font size for some other characters either, so you don't really get the full effect. I'll try to add more description to how they talk so that the effect is not lost. But she learns from her mistakes realizing what's good and bad, trying to not pass that burden onto her children and continues to develop her powers even when others would have quit in her shoes. But she's no ordinary person, and they don't know any of her pains. Watch her and many others stumble upon each other chasing their goals ending up at war. Will they clear the ashes of fading smoke after the fire they all caused between each other or will they forever remain at quilt for not responding?
