Young Mesa lives in a small town by the ocean with many forests nearby to explore and to view by tourists. Her and her gender fluid friend Bis are inseparable and everyone in the town knows it. Mesa believes in the supernatural, the crazy extraterrestrials, she is always found in her room under the floors of her mothers library going on an on about plans and missions. Bis never seems to mind though, as long as Mesa is happy. But even though Mesa goes looking for crazy, Bis always seems to run into it. His mission is to make Mesa happy by helping her find the mysteries of their small tourist town.
