"Fine, my problem is you." I replied with a glare. "You don't even know me," He repeated for the second time. "I don't have to, I see how you treat people and it's enough for me to not want to know you." "Well I don't really want to know you either, if you're going to be this judgmental," He said loudly, mirroring my angry expression. "Don't say it like it's a bad thing, I have a reason to judge you!" "Not a good one! You, of all people, don't get to judge me." "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked in a low voice, daring him to answer. "We both know the answer to that." ... Taylor Locke has more skeletons hidden in her closet than anyone, and when news of her past came out at the new school she transferred to in her sophomore year (no thanks to those nasty skeletons), she went from being well liked to hated in a matter of days. Now, she's starting her junior year at Edge Grover High, and all she wants is to make it through the next two years with her emotions in tact. Phineas Goldberg is your typical golden boy with good grades, good looks, and a pretty blonde cheerleader on his lap at all times. He was born into money and power and thinks he can get away with whatever he wants. He breaks girls hearts on the daily and doesn't think anything of it. He's under the impression that he is the best there is, and everyone telling him so doesn't help. But everyone's got skeletons, he's just better at hiding them. Taylor has disliked Phineas since the moment she saw him, though she had never talked to him long enough to know him. Phineas has always been the cocky golden boy who belived the rumors about Taylor. When these two opposites are thrown together for an English project, can they work together without biting each others heads off? Will Taylor uncover the skeletons Phineas has burried? And will Phineas realize that Taylor's not who everyone says she is?
