Anastasia never felt love or affection with the exception of her baby sister. She never had that motherly moment on your first date or your dad taking you out for ice cream to make you feel better. No she had none of that, but she had more ferocity and guts than any other 18 year old that she had ever met. Her only goal in life so far was to stay alive long enough to get her and her baby sister Sang out of that house away from the devil of a woman they call a mother as well as that worthless piece of crap they call father. The only problem was her plans fell apart when she was forced out on her 18th birthday leaving Sang alone to take all the so-called "punishments" their mother would dish out. The only benefit is a grandmother she never knew now turned into guardian angel left her a small fortune as well as a home.
A month after being forced out of her hell of a home and countless desperate attempts to get in contact with Sang she finally gets a break, but it doesn't occur in the way that she planned.

They were still working effectively, but there was just so much divide between them like they weren't connecting as the family they were. In this Ghostbird Fanfic Sang never makes it to Charleston, SC. Sang saves herself before ever meeting her boys. She isn't abandoned by family, she won't put up with abuse, and doesn't feel it's her duty to take care of a monster. Every victim of abuse reacts differently. I personally was defiant and refused to believe what I was told or that I deserved it. I wanted Sang to have my spirit. I wanted Sang to have even more than my spirit actually as I didn't save myself but Sang will save herself. So if Sang was never the timid bird we know her as who will she become? If she ends up knowing a normal life and allowed to mature and know healthy relationships before meeting the boys how will that go? I'll alter the boys as well. When I look back now on CL's books they come across as guys who don't like confident women and have hero complexes. I can't remember exactly what they say about the Academy girls and why they won't date them but basically it's because the girls are confident and sure of themselves and apparently that's not good? So no these guys won't be like that. The core of who they are will be the same though. I feel like the Toma team does appreciate confident women already so they won't need to be altered at all. I digress lets see how the story flows with our Sang being her own hero and the havoc she'll unleash on our boys. Finally, these characters are not my own but the plot is my own. So no stealing my plot and give all credit of characters to CL Stone. I will reference to some scenes from her books as well as the boys will still do the Ashley Waters mission and deal with Volto.
