For as long as Evelyn could remember, her home has never been a safe place. With the constant threat of her mother's erratic behaviour, Evelyn is nothing more than her punching bag. Elliot never had friends, he's always been bullied and his parents are both drunkards with a bad temper. All his life he's just dealt with the problems and toughed it out. When he moves to a new house and new school nothing really changes. He still gets bullied, he's still an outcast and his family still sucks. He goes on to live as usual.
