    “Leave?”
    “Yeah Lou, leave.” Louis’ bottom lip starts to tremble at that.
    “But… but why?”
    “Because it´s too dangerous, I can´t be here once I´ve turned 20.” He tries to explain as calmly as possible but of course Louis isn´t buying it.

If you're older than your soulmate you stay 18 until he/she/they catch up. When Harry wakes up on his 13th birthday he notices two things. 1. The room is in color. 2. The face staring back at him in the mirror isn't his own. Purely fictional.
