**Fanfiction of the Lockwood and Co. series**

When the dead come to haunt the living, Lockwood and Co. step in...

Lockwood and Co. have always been consistent and stubborn in their work. Everyone knows that. They've fought so many ghosts that they almost seem like a second part of them.

For Lucy Carlyle, rejoining the company finally makes her feel like herself--and her Talents have never been better. But what if seeds of doubt are sprouting in her mind? Doubts that had taken months to reassure? Will they take control of her when facing sinister spirits, more dangerous than the ones they've ever faced before? To top it off, someone seems to be set on destroying them--someone who has a black vengeance burning deep in their heart.

Can Lockwood, Lucy, George, Holly, and Kipps (and perhaps the skull) make it through this haunted mess unscathed or will their luck finally run out?

--Spoiler Alert--
This book is set after the Creeping Shadow so it contains a few (a lot)of spoilers.

And are ghosts... real? Twenty-two-year-olds Arielle Daniels and Stella Sullivan go on an east-coast ghost-hunting tour to honor their recently deceased best friend, Jade, whose death remains a mystery. Only her parents know the circumstances, and they refuse to tell anyone. Stella wants to pay her respects by following Jade's bucket-list; but Arielle wants real, palpable answers. What happens after death? Why has she lost so many loved ones? And how exactly did Jade die? In the midst of their journey, Arielle realizes she might have been in love with Jade, but now... she has no way to be sure, and no idea how to reveal this to Stella--or anyone else, for that matter. As they travel, the girls discover more about themselves than they anticipated, both forced to come to terms with their emotions; Arielle to accept her bisexuality, and Stella to acknowledge her heritage as the descendant of a long line of psychic mediums.
