I was eight years old when I witnessed my mother take her last breath of air. I can honestly say that I remember a lot. I remember how my mother use to sing me to sleep, I remember her sharing her love of the deep, blue ocean, I even remember the small sea shell birth mark she had that I loved so much.

Now, this story begins as other story normally would. On a seemingly normal day, in a seemingly normal neighborhood, in a seemingly normal school known as McGovern High School.

Then, BAM! Here comes Adrian, jet black hair, dimpled smile, eyes the color of the ocean. He intrigues me. I really should stay away, keep to myself, but as I grow closer and closer to him I now realize that he may be keeping deep, dark, drowning secrets.
