In the year 2400 society has gone into ruins and countries are destroyed. Forget what you know about your world. In this world there are only bases. You stay in the base you were born in and if necessary you fight with your base for more territory or against attackers.
Autumn however has no base. She was captured at the age of 16 and her base killed for territory. She is finally able to escape and finds herself at another base, nowhere to go and injured. Her biggest worry is will they kill her? She might not be able to fight her way out of this one. At this new base she meets Shawn and struggles through trying to make the new base her home while dealing with her anger and struggling to let Shawn in while he tries to help her.
