The life of him was taken, seeping slowly out of him from the blood, which was being drained out from his neck. In the state of shock, Gerard could barely fight to stay alive, let alone talk. Luckily, before he slipped in to unconsciousness, he managed to mumble four, nearly incoherent, words. They only just reached the figure's ears. "What are you doing..?" It was so quiet, scratchy and hoarse.
