This is a fan fiction based on the last of us game the time line of the story takes place at the end of the game and different location (sorta). I'm also going to do that thing that the game did with the seasons,the whole game is technically a year. If you watch game play you'll know what I'm talking about. This story may contain very similar events to the game (because I not the best with my own ideas) so I want give as much credit to naughty dog and the story developers of the game and the creators or artists of the covers of most of the story parts and maybe music, because I don't own them and to be honest the game itself gave me some ideas, and inspired me to make this story. oh I'm not sure if this is a good Idea but the characters in the story are me and my friends but only first names I don't wanna give out last names if that is too much and by the way not all of the characters are my friends I made a couple of them up. Just wanted to put my self in the action. I'll probably make a sequel to this story so hope you like it. This is sort of a mature audience type of story, but there is not going to that much romance...well there is actually, but don't expect it to be all that this story has to offer. Plus the cover might be a little off since Wattpad covers isn't working with me right for some reason. This is a work in progress. It will take a long time and many hiatuses for me to finish it. I intend to complete the first act before December, but I promise nothing more. Not like anyone reads my stuff anyway. I've set the story in an alternate reality. The main inspirations for the world are probably "Castle in the Sky," "Final Fantasy," and "Metropolis." There's a lot of steampunk, and while some thought is put into the logistics of how technology works, I won't focus on it much. Technology is vaguely 19th and 20th century, and it's meant to be Earth, but the geography is slightly different. There are a few other differences in their history, but those will become obvious as you read. Act I: Part I will focus on Julio, a young and ambitious historian from Sainte Marie in Gaul, as he meets Kallista, a Spartan girl. They mix like oil and water, but must learn to work together as the long journey to Athens introduces several obstacles that threaten their safety.

The difference is that through the Narrator, I can drop hints and foreshadow what is coming next, whereas through my O.C, I can only talk and think with what I already know. Pretty Much...switching from 1st person to 3rd person and vice versa. The synopsis for this project has haunted me since the first person asked me "So, what is it about?", and to this day I have never been able to deliver a straight answer. Winter in a city is an especially punishing time. This book comes out of my late nights and early mornings riding the train, and my looking at the window and being able to make out nothing but the blur of the glass. From the outside it may look dead, but certain people know that the inner workings of a city are a true marvel to behold. In writing this, I have tried to capture that marvel and deliver it to you, the reader. This is a book about a city and the people within it. The rest is up for you to read, if you so choose.
