100 years ago the Leandarian continent of the church and the Lukairian demon continent began a war that would end with the apocalyptic events that led to the Catacrevice, an event that split the two continents in half forever. A very fragile peace came out of this catastrophe, borne upon the marriage of Prince Jet of the Church and the Demon Princess. All has seemed relatively peaceful, but the tides of war seem to be brewing again. And thrust unwillingly into the middle of it is a boy by the name of Cinder. A boy who by no accounts is memorable, but soon may strike his name into the history books.
