Cars rush by. People stroll with phones stuck to their faces, something it seemed they "needed". She noticed all of them, yet they never seemed to notice her. She became a ghost behind the dumpster, behind the alleyway, or even in plain sight like on the sidewalk. But there was someone who noticed her. Who, at first, she did not see. And that someone later became her best friend. A dog. And she loved that dog more than anything, spilling her secrets to it as he begun to understand her whole life that she thought no one would ever understand. But that dog gave her so much pain in the end.
