People tend to come together in small towns. Hailey has tight knit group of friends. They live in their own little world. They have fun, go to services, and all have a conjoined-family lunch after each Sunday service. Each of their families , the Skywards, the Bentleys, the Millers, and the Stevens, have a respected role in the church, resulting in a respected role in the town. The town practically runs around the Church. Or does the Church practically run the town?
As the daughter of her town's senior pastor, Hailey Bentley lives a respected life. Church is her life.
All is well until Hailey starts to notice people outside her world. She sees the lives she's been effecting over the years. And when a particular guy intrigue's her, everything starts to change.
When a certain teacher is being threatened to be removed, she has to question what is right, and what is wrong, resulting in her own independence.
