A betrayal. A tragedy. A sacrifice.
Before Kurosawa Tsuyoshi even became of age, he was robbed of his friends, his family and his home. Driven into hiding, pursued by enemies, the young boy was turned from the heir of a prominent clan into a fugitive constantly on the run, while political maneuvering in Edo in the aftermath is drastically changing the landscape of feudal Japan as he knew it. What took a few days to destroy, he now needed years to redeem.
As Tsuyoshi embarks on a journey to find his father's murderers, he encounters friends and foes alike, bringing together a loyal band of followers in his journey of redeeming his family's honour. Facing him; a hostile environment controlled and manipulated by the shogunate in Edo, which endeavors to the extreme to kill off the Heir of Kurosawa.
However, as Tsuyoshi ventures further in his quest to avenge his father, he makes several discoveries, shaking the foundations of his identity to its very core. The deeper he digs into the past, the more questions than answers he finds, as he realises the gravity of the situation laid out before him. Things are not as it seems, with decades, even centuries, of history coming back to collect their due. The weight of the ages now rests upon the shoulders of the adolescent.
The ghosts of the past are returning, ready to haunt the present, and caught directly in the middle of the crossfires is an unlikely group of misfits led by an exiled prince fighting to find out who he is and to restore his family's honour. The line between ally and enemy blurs, as the shogun, samurai and ninja alike all vie for Tsuyoshi's life. War is at Japan's doorstep once again, the scars of the past bringing their grudges to be borne again by the present.
Will Tsuyoshi be able to ride above the storm and rise like the phoenix from the ashes of his past, or will he face utter destruction and annihilation in the battle of history?
Run Kami!" I scream as I activate my quirk, wrenching my head around quickly and spotting my target. I ignore the pain in my neck, blood pooling into my mouth as I clench down with my added strength. A satisfying snap resonates through the air as the alpha wolf goes limp, his dead weight falling onto me. I breath for a moment letting my nerves calm down, before pushing the body off of me and struggling to my feet. "We are running out of time."
Izuku watched as his family was slaughtered by a rogue pack, forcing him in becoming Superior of the only 3 survivors. Will he be able to keep his pack safe from the rogues when they find refuge in another pack? Will this pack help them rehabilitate or will an Alpha try to keep the pack for his own?
Izuku Midoriya is the only Royal Omega left after his pack is murdered. The weight and stress of his dead family and the needs of the surviving members can only lead to more hardships for the new Superior. With no place to call home, decisions must be made and personal interests ignored to insure survival.
