It has been a few months since the death of Akemi. Having her die in his arms left a bad feeling in his soul.
Growing up, the two were inseparable and it could even be said that they were made for each other.
She was a war general, destined to lead the Army to promising places. He was the prodigal son- his father the prince of purgatory. His mother the empress of The Oni.
It seemed like everything lined up for them, but her untimely death.

One that he wished he could have stopped. With her death, came his guilt. With that guilt, came the departure of him being with his family, his friends and anyone that made him remember Akemi. He had lost his soulmate and with her, he had lost half of who he was.
Having left His home, he ventured out to find himself.
