This time he had crouched his face down to hers and hissed every last word out into her ear. Each syllable in her ear sent shivers down her skin until it pricked at the sound. "Well I'm done playing you're little games sweetheart. I let you go last time and I'm not letting you go free again."

The man on the throne abruptly stood up, his dark black eyes shining with an untammed flame, one that turned everything into embers. It was obvious that this powerful man did not like those who spoke back, espeically a small human girl like the one in front of him. The human girl felt the anger radiate off the man and started to run towards the entrance she came from, only to suddenly feel arms wrap around her waist, crushing her against a very solid chest. She opened her mouth to yell, but a strong hand covered her mouth. "You are a fiesty little girl." It was evident that the man was smirking in his voice; he was enjoying her fear. "Now, I do not want to punish you so early. So please, be the good girl that you are and be quiet. Not that screaming will do you any good; you are in the Underworld, after all." --- It had been five years after the death of her older sister before nineteen year old Katherine Bakers could even sleep peacefully at night. She had witnessed her own sisters murder, leaving scars beyond compare. She withdrew from her family and became a quiet recluse. But old nightmares come to life when she is knocked out and is taken by a stranger. Only this stranger is a god: Hades, God of the Underworld. Hades is a very dangerous man who rules the Underworld with an iron fist with no immorse for punishments of the wicked. He has a stone-cold heart that feels like ice, as no one has been able unthaw his frozen heart. And he is slowly losing time. A shattered human and the god of the dead; a new take of Persephone and Hades. "I don't know what I did to make you hate me, I haven't done anything to warrant how you ignore me! Please, just tell me!" "I'm in love with you, damn it!" He roars. "I love you so much Aphrodite, and you scare me because you are so strong and I don't want to be the one to break you!" * Aphrodite Muerte is hiding something and so is her long term crush Thanatos Amaro. Both are helplessly in love with one another and both have very different approaches on how to hide it. Love makes you do crazy things and with Aphrodite and Thanatos, it's no different. Pretending to hate Aphrodite, Thanatos manages to hide his true feelings which takes a toll on both of them. Thanatos has no idea what he's doing. Past trauma rules over Aphrodite at night causing nightmares and panic during the day. Aphrodite has no idea how to live life outside of pain. Abuse has a way of shaping people, and she's barely mended from being so broken. Both have friends that force them closer but their love might just be the reason why they end up staying together. Afterall, someone can only stay away from the person they're in love with for so long. One argument and a couple of confessions later leaves them on a confusing path that has the opportunity to be beautiful or disastrous. Love is magical but it is also savage. For Aphrodite and Thanatos, they are each other's downfalls and each others saviors. How long they last is up to them. How much they go through to get together is up to fate. In the end, will they make it or will their love end in splinters and heartache? * WARNING: Mature Content (of all sorts). WARNING: This story will contain spoilers for the game Hades. Including the epilogue. Zagreus and Thanatos have been best friends for as long as they can remember. The prince of the underworld had gone through a lot of things in the past year after the discovery of his family's long drawn drama and various other problems that arose alongside it. However, the prince was not held back at all from showing affection to everyone as he always does, rebuilding the relationships that had faded away with age overtime, including his and Thanatos'. Recently after his mother Persephone returned to the underworld, he and Thanatos at last confessed their feelings to one another, leading to becoming what mortals and gods alike call it, lovers. Things are looking well, but there is something biting away at Zagreus' heart, wishing for more attention. After Zagreus is given the task to hand out invitations for the great underworld feast that will hopefully put a temporary end to all the lies and deceptions, Thanatos begins to feel different during his work after a certain incident, leading up to him searching for Zagreus every time he goes out of the House of Hades to spread the nine invitations or do his usual escape attempts. Will Thanatos be able to express himself clearly to Zagreus? What is Zagreus' desire that he so much longs to express in some way?
