School has ended, summer has begun, and avid dreamer Violetta Matthews has prepped herself for the worst. With no friends, social life, or school work to distract her, it is looking like it's going to be a very long, mundane summer for Violetta.

However, people form bonds in the most unexpected places. So little does Violetta know that working at Bennie's Ice Cream Shop will result in a wild summer involving a bucket list, lifelong bonds, a new obsession with mint chocolate chip ice cream... and who knows, possibly even love?
