When it comes to sports, the only moments highlighted and broadcasted are those that are golden, when an athlete is at the top of the mountain, fearless. The trouble is that the lowest points in our lives are ignored and clouded out. It is at these times where one's character truly shows.

All Sam Delmont has ever known was football. From the age of six, he's just been the boy who fell in love with the game and never looked back with nothing in his way. As the starting wide receiver for his junior year, Sam was on top of his high-horse with no intention of coming down.

However, after sustaining serious injury early in the season, he experiences what it's like to have his world taken away from him, and faces a battle with his own attitude. What decisions will Sam make during his road to recovery?

A story detailing not the sport itself, but everything that is not seen- how an athlete deals with status, pressure, attitude, and fear. Find out in perspective why nothing should ever be taken for granted, and learn that once you give up, you may never go back.

Our path into the college baseball recruiting experience started much like most other families in youth baseball: We knew nothing. What originally started out as an activity to play on the weekends with our sons and their friends, grew over the years into a lifestyle never expected. 19 years later, two of my sons have been successfully recruited to play college baseball, and my oldest has just completed his 3rd season of professional baseball. Baseball people have always told us that "If you can play the Game in high school - you can play the Game in college: It doesn't matter where you play. After watching my sons play baseball in Park City, Utah, where we average 411-inches of snow annually, I'd agree. Yet despite our own success, too many deserving high school players continue to fail in their own efforts to realize the same dream, and I believe this rate of failure is only due to a lack of education and perspective of the recruitment process itself - and what the player must do to prepare himself to become recruited for the next level of baseball. My family has been incredibly-blessed with the opportunities extended, and it's time to give back: I want to help other players realize their dream of playing college baseball too! Each year, over 24,000 high school baseball players attempt to become recruited to play college baseball, and if you took all the roster spots available (at every level), the odds of becoming recruited are as great as 7 of every 10 players. Although our story is indeed fictional, the recruiting steps contained within are real - and proven, and will help others become successfully recruited. Read my story, and learn the elements of recruitment: The supply and demand sides of college baseball; how to prepare to perform at a higher level; the best level of college baseball; and how to craft a successful, targeted recruitment strategy that saves you time and money - and lets YOU choose the best college baseball program for you!

Not every blonde is stupid. In the South if you're a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed girl high expectations are made. Either you're not extremely smart, so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. Or you are smart and you just pretend to be dumb so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. All her life Avery Skinner has been told what to do and how to do it- by everyone. By her mother, the girls she calls friends, the guys in school, teachers, family, even Mark the mailman. Needless to say, she's sick of it. Its time Avery took control of her life or at least get a firm grip on the sucker. She's loved football ever since she was a little girl. Yet she could never play because ladies aren't supposed to do such barbaric things. Especially in the South- unless its a rodeo and you're wearing those ridiculously tight outfits that show you're navel or showing you can hold your liquor. Avery has longed to be on the field, throwing the ball instead of cheering on the team her dad coaches that can't seem to win. Then her best friend Austin forces Avery to and for sometime everyone is fooled. But the truth can only be hidden for so long. The moment the townsfolk of Stonehenge, Alabama learned it was a girl under that helmet, was the moment true colors showed. It hasn't been easy and it won't get any better but Avery is here to play. * Avery is going to face REAL life problems, and not nice people. She's going to deal with sexual harassment, mean words, rude people, pregnancy, injuries, steroids, etc.. In this story I want to exemplify how sexist and cruel humans can be. There will be hard moments, but I want to put it out there because it IS a serious problem. Harsh language and such will be present. You have been warned, don't read it then complain. I Hate Football Players

Football players are assholes. I know - my brother is their king. Older and annoyingly overprotective, he's the star quarterback at Santa Cruz High School. I love him, but everyone worships the air he breathes and it's suffocating. After a traumatic experience with a quarterback three years ago, I want nothing to do with boys and dating. All that matters is getting into college, so I ace my classes and sign up for my school's student ambassador program to boost my applications. Thankfully, I have my best friend, Harper, to get me through high school being overshadowed by my brother. My plans for a quiet, low-key senior year are destroyed when my brother's cocky, arrogant rival keeps butting into my life. Logan Hightower is a total player who expects me to drool at his feet while he uses me to burn my brother's game. If he thinks I'll fall for his gorgeous looks and shallow charms, he's totally mistaken. He'll never succeed because I hate football players.
