At the age of sixteen every mage is blessed by Hecate with a focus, solidifying what kind of specialty they'll have. For Ky, getting his focus is everything. Living in the small town of Greywood, Maine is boring and not having any other supernatural friends makes him feel even more isolated. So when his focus arrives and it's not all that he has expected he has every right to be disappointed. That is until he is told of a second gift. Who is Ky to refuse such an opportunity? Even if it's something he never expected.

Jasper is 17 years old and the worst thing he's ever dealt with in his life was a move from California to Arizona and the death of grandparents he never knew. That is, until his hair turns white and he suddenly has the strange ability to freeze the things around him. That's just the beginning of his descent into a life of confusion and darkness. And to top off his sudden switch into Jack Frost's body, he now has to live with the most hostile person he's ever known and learn to control his icy abilities...
