Dan Howell suffers from schizophrenia. The voices in his head tell him to do horrible things to himself and others, but the only thing grounding him to earth is the clouds in the sky. Phil Lester has sever depression and is struggling to keep going each day. All his life he had been a mer shell of a man. When they meet one day by fate, how will it all play out?

Dan Howell has just moved into town, and is looking for friends. He meets Phil: a fun loving, happy kid who is on his final day at work in the coffee shop. They met as friends but become enemies, when both of them wanted more.

Phil is an ordinary guy with an ordinary life. Nothing very special about him, he's just normal. But it all changes when, on the weirdest day of his life, he meets the very quiet and recluse, Dan Howell. He's different. Phil doesn't usually do different, but something about Dan makes him want to try it. But when he's pulled into a world he didn't even know existed, he doesn't know if his choice was such a smart one. Because, there's a reason Dan is different. And it might not be so good.

I've read a bunch of phan, so why not write one? Dan Howell's life couldn't be any better at the moment. He has met the most beautiful, charming, kind girl he could ever imagine, and she loves him back. Everything is perfect... but not for Phil. Phil Lester has always been in love with Dan since the first moment he first met him, but now Phil's heart is crushed. He has some suspicions of Dan's girlfriend, but Dan just brushes it off, ignoring Phil completely. Unfortunately, Phil's bad feelings may be true... Sexual content, self harm, language, and domestic abuse warning. Also, I'm American, so if I get anything wrong, please tell me. ••• Update: This is very old (not really that old) writing! You see Phil can hear, but is fluent in ASL as well as Dan. When they start communicating, they sign the one thing that can make or break their strange relationship, whatever you would want to call it. "I'm gay" "Me too"
