But believing the Autobots are a threat, they are secretly being eliminated by an elite CIA unit with the help of a Transformer bounty hunter, Lockdown. Because of this, Optimus has lost his faith in humanity. After escaping an ambush and being dormant for a long time, Optimus wakes up to find himself badly injured in a barn.
