The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Whoever that was is like us. "Did you just see that?" I ask "You're that person my brother and I saw," He says. Oh no... Why then? "Wait! You're-" Completed just editing. (Don't be too harsh please)Complete
Hidden Memories
A blank doll with acting and action running in her veins, Freia woke up in a hospital with no memory of what brought her there. Sure, the doctors said a car crash delivered her there, but it didn't feel like it. They said her family's dead but how come Freia didn't feel like that was true? Her very first visitors were her adoptive parents, Fabio and Darlene Hunter. She had four friends that stuck with her ever since she could remember, literally. That is until one who was dear to her was killed, in front of her. Of course, she was devastated. Why would that be a question? One day, Fabio decided to put her into his school filled with students that he specifically chose to be in. When she was finally forced to be in it, she found out things she thought that only existed in books. Powers unknown to the modern world, sheltered children who only knows the world through TV and non-interactive computers. All of the information comes in that school, but never comes out. I gotta say, why would you believe something that was written and altered by humans from outside? Would you even put your trust on the person who doesn't let you out unless he wants you to? Read on as we see Freia and her friends struggle to find their places in the world they thought they knew of. [COMPLETED] [UNEDITED]Complete
Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued
A Guide to Being Super
Every city has its claim to fame and for the city of Cytropolis it's their superheroes. But unlike the cities of Gotham and Central City, this isn't a good thing. Cytropolis is known far and wide as the city with the clumsiest and least influential superheroes ever. But it never mattered that much since the super villains were just as bad. That is, until recently when the villains decided to smarten up and open a super villain academy to train the newest generation (something that never occurred to the heroes). Luckily for them, Matt Miller has arrived. He may seem like an average, normal (even bordering on boring) seventeen-year-old boy, but when are things ever what they seem? He may be apathetic and bitter but he has super powers and he's kind of, well, powerful. He's the heroes only hope against the newest villain in town, Sinister Shadow, and he has no choice but to lend a hand (but he refuses to wear tights while he does it, he draws the line at tights). And with Matt's help (along with his little sister turned sidekick), the heroes just might win. *cover by @soundthealarm*Complete
