Red. Everything was red. His shirt covered in blood. His pants soaked to where they were falling down. Blood smeared across his face as if someone had dragged their hand down him. I knew it wasnt his blood, that's probably what scared me the most. Know that the person I'm in love with, could do this to someone else. My wold told me to go to him. My mate. But my human told me to run. So that's what I did. I turned heel and ran around the corner of the gray walls. My feet slipping on the water as I did so. I could hear him calling for me, telling me to come back, telling me not to be afraid. But how was I not supposed to be? My mate. My Alpha can kill. I ran as fast as I could up the steep stairs. Going to the highest level, only to realize that it was a dead end. I looked around and saw no doors with only one window. I could hear the heavy footsteps approaching quickly, I could tell he was panicking. But I couldn't let him get to me.

So I jumped.

I ran across the room at full speed into the slightly cracked window. Only then did I realize how far up I really was. At least 17 stories. I'm a werwolf. But even I know there is no surviving this.

I could feel my heart beet faster as I fell. It was as if everything was in slow motion. I could hear the ear splitting scream of my mates heart breaking as he watched me fall to my death.
