I have been living with Tourette Syndrome since the age of eight. At the age of ten, I was physically abused for winking at the wrong person. Since the other person was also only ten, he was ignorant to the fact that I cannot control some of the motions that I do. It took me a long time to start defending myself and is still very difficult to do because of this moment. This story that I'm entering for the contest is an extremely shortened version of what I have actually written for myself. I will always look back on this moment and remember, that I did nothing wrong and that there is nothing wrong with me.
