But Doctor McCoy has never had to deal with a certain disease one of his nurses is inflicted with. One cure is dangerous and leaves the patient with more losses than gains; the other is so highly unlikely it is deemed impossible. It doesn't help that the disease involves a certain pointy-eared hobgoblin the stern southern CMO can't stand
