Aereus Online. A virtual reality MMO released to only 100,000 people who are suddenly trapped within the game. Where death in-game is the same as death in real life. Only when the game is beaten, will the players be released from their realistic prison. Following a girl, under the username of Licentia, and her friends, they will face many challenges. Tests that challenge their morality, sanity, and even their humanity throughout their journey. Will their choices lead them closer to 'the end', or 'their end'?  Disclaimer: I don't own the situation that is similar to the anime/manga 'Sword Art Online'. Kawahara Reki does. I only own the story I'm writing and all of the characters and Calla is owned by Lady_Laufeyson.

The beta test later ended during the 31st of August. ---November 6th 2022--- 10,000 people have entered SAO only to realize that they are stuck inside, with the only way out is by beating all 100 of SAO's floors. It seems practically impossible to most people, with so many floors to beat it feels almost pointless trying... But Kaito refuses to stop and will keep on going and his best friends, Otashi and Rikka, alongside his new friend, Koharu, might see Kaito as the very motivation they need to keep going. Kaito and Koharu (And occasionally Rikka and Otashi) will make their way through perilous dangers, scary dungeons, and trembling tensions if escape is going to be an option that can even chosen for them. I do not own SAO or any of it's characters, neither do I own images used in this story.

Life in middle school is hard for sixteen year old Joko Ofaman. His name alone gets him teased. Being of lower class doesn't help him any. It seems that his only escape is into the virtual world of online gaming. It is the year 2048 and puzzle games are on the rise, limiting Joko's favorite genre of RPGs. However, the only people Joko cares about are taken away from him. A companies commercial promised the best RPG, however, Joko couldn't buy it. His friends are taken away and he is just about ready to die when a mysterious woman gives him a new chance. Will this game help Joko logout of this world, or will it force him to come back for the better of the planet? Note: not as accurate as I like, but that would be giving away spoilers! Note: This wasn't inspired by SAO or Log Horizon, but by a-ha's Take On Me music video.
