Lance leads an exciting and fulfilling life as a world renowned internet star, living in California along side his best friends Pidge and Hunk with youtube channels of their own. The three are constantly busy filming videos and hosting parties for friends and elite youtube stars like themselves. They're so busy that they haven't had time to think about the one thing in their society that is set in stone, their soulmates. But how to tell who their soul mate is?

Keith leads a normal, almost boring, life as a soon to be 18-year-old living in New Jersey with his older brother Shiro and his brother's boyfriend Matt. Keith is an average boy, with an average crush on his favorite youtuber, Lance McClain himself. Fangirls will fangirl, and they always want to meet their idols, however Keith never imagined the possibility of meeting Lance. So what happens at the annual Vidcon in sunny California, Keith never couldn't have ever predicted.

They rarely spoke to each other and only knew things about each other that they told the whole team, Shiro, Pidge, Hunk, Coran and Allura. They were always off doing their own things and never did things together unless it was for a mission. On such a mission the team got split up. Hunk and Pidge went to a different planet to help people, and so did Coran and Allura. Shiro, Keith and Lance go on another mission to a planet where no one lives. They need to find a special living plant on the planet to make the Cryogenic Pods work properly again. Shiro choose the two boys because they always fought, but he hopes they won't now.
