It's over, it's all over. Magnus left him, left him alone to suffer in the dark despair of his miserable existence. Alec is broken, but revenge is on the mind. Revenge against Camille Belcourt, but it's not Camille in her room. It's a fledgling, a familiar looking fledgling. What's Alec to do? Fight, of course, that's all he can do. Fight for the life he doesn't deserve, or want. When you have nothing left to live for, what's the point of fighting anyways? Why should Alec fight for something that will only hurt him later? Why not give up?
