Alise z codziennego wszystkim znanego świata trafia do surrealistycznej krainy demonów. Rządzi nią górujący nad wszystkim byt tytułowany przez siebie samego władcą. Nieszczęśnicy którzy tam są trafili ze świata ludzkiego połączonego z Demonisją nierozerwalną więzią. W końcu czy ludzie też nie potrafią być demonami? Czy świat z którym muszą się zmierzyć to ich nierealna ukrywana strona? Świat do którego i ty się wybierasz to niepokojąca i nielogiczna wizja onirycznej codzienności. Ludzie żyją tu jak nigdziekolwiek indziej. Wstając zamiast wchodu słońca słyszą głos z niebios i bynajmniej nie jest to Bóg. A słońce pojawia się w najmniej odpowiednich momentach.

Children of Adaygue Book 1: Mad World
Book One. It's a strange, even mad world indeed. A world where magic once long ago filled the air, and was felt within everything, until humanity explored it's potential for power, destruction, and war. And with it came the true nature of it: Chaos, the source of magic. It nearly ripped apart creation, and thus, some legendary hero took sealed it away to protect the creation from destruction- Adaygue, Great Mother to everyone. She became the deity to protect magic, and her followers called herself "Children of Adaygue". 3135 years later, after countless of wars, magic flickers and loses its meaning. But the people "blessed by Adaygue" face segregation, racism, and exploitation from the countries they live in. The story revolves around a group of people from all over the world: Madleine and Marik Winterfeldt, siblings by choice and Gene, a young noble living in the old Holy Empire of German Nation, a nation riddled with magical infested rifts as literal scars of war, and in continuesly danger of being at war again with it's powerful neigbour, The Holy French Empire of the Sun. On the other side of the planet, in the United Kingdom of America, magic abled people have more possibility to work with their "blessing", if it is viewed more useful. This means to fight against giant beasts from faultlines, that have strange connections to rifts. There is a band of people quite successful with it and one in particular is celebrated like a popstar: Hades, (self-declared) God of the Underworld, trying to survive a world where the only worth a person like him is how much money he generates for the large companies called "guilds". It's a world ruled by chaos. A mad world indeed.
